This pool is owned outright by the Association along with 7 acres of surrounding land. It was bought by the Association over 20 years ago. Lots of work has been done in conjunction with the children of local schools to turn the adjoining land into a haven for wildlife. This is why a small area at the end of the pool is out of bounds, to promote wildlife and fauna. And a lot of work has been done by the water management team, officials and volunteers to remove dangerous trees and build quality pegs. The water contains a large head of specimen carp . In addition, it also holds double figure bream, and large shoals of roach and rudd.It also has a good head of pike due to the stream that flows through from petty pool. This pool is also home to some large eels that occasionally get caught.
Daily limit of 20 anglers. Night fishing is allowed on this water.

This water requires a work party stamp to fish during the closed season.
Newpool may be booked for matches, junior events etc. No keepnets
to be used under any circumstances. Contact the bailiff for further information

all members fishing the pool will need to purchase a key (if they have not already got one) as the top car park IS locked with a GATE to prevent fly tipping etc.

All anglers fishing the association pools and rivers, have the right ,whenever questioned by a bailiff of the association, to request that the bailiff also is able to show his/her card. If any members are asked to leave the water for whatever reason by a bailiff and he/she fails to produce a valid bailiff card please contact a member of the fishery management team or comittee.
